Lauren Campbell, MOT
Lauren Campbell was born and raised in the small town of Logan, West Virginia. Her upbringing has contributed to her love of the state and her passion of serving the people of West Virginia. To serve her community, Campbell has volunteered at Camp Gizmo, a camp that provides therapy and social work services for medically complex children in West Virginia; Night to Shine, a prom for individuals with disabilities; and iCan Shine Bike Camp, a camp that teaches individuals with a disability how to ride a conventional two-wheel bike.
Campbell graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Exercise Science and a minor in Psychology from Marshall University in 2017. During her time at Marshall, she was a student in the Honors College Student Association, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and Order of Omega. She also served on the executive board for Sigma Sigma Sigma. Most recently, Campbell is a graduate of the Master’s of Occupational Therapy Program at West Virginia University, where she has served as an officer for the Student Occupational Therapy Association. She plans to remain in West Virginia and continue to serve the state she loves.
